I am interested in doing voiceover work as a way to help pay my way through college. I know a guy who works for the college radio station and he agreed that I have a pretty good voice for it. He let me do those deep voice of God type promos for his show and the people around campus are all ribbing me about it. I suspect that means that I did well. A guy from the local classic rock station is even mocking me too, but they want me to do a little bit for them. It is sort of a gag routine, one of the funny bits they use to fill up time so that they do not have to stay on the air all the time I guess. They really whet my appetite for more work since the money was pretty good considering it took less than an hour.
